Welcome! I'm glad you found me! I'm Michelle, and first and foremost, I am a child of God and a wife and mother. I have two beautiful children, Hannah and Luke. I've been married for 9 years to my awesomely supportive hubby, John. I am also a scrapbooker and paper crafter. Scrapbooking is more than just a hobby for me. I have found that it is a true lifeline! That may sound silly, but building friendships and relationships is VERY important to me. That is what lead me to where I am now. I've been through a lot of changes over the years, but what hasn't changed is my desire and need to be around friends.
I was an art teacher for 10 years and when I left my job to stay home with my daughter, it hit me pretty hard...I felt very disconnected to the outside world. I enjoyed working on my scrapbooks, but really missed teaching and the relationships I had when I was working. After thinking about what I wanted and what would work for our little family, I went to Hobby Lobby and was soon teaching scrapbooking and general crafting classes. I did that for two years and met the most wonderful, life-long friends! It was EXACTLY what I needed. At that point I decided to step it up, and become an Independent Consultant with Close to my Heart. After researching all of the other companies and their compensation plans, I decided that CTMH was the best fit for me. So, I jumped in head first and ordered the consultant kit before I ever saw a catalog! I think that it is one of the best choices I've ever made! It's been two years and I still love being a consultant! I enjoy all of the great products, and discounts, but more than anything, I love the friendships that I have made.
I just recently just started to take a mental inventory of the friends that I've made from my business, and I have come to realize how truly blessed I've been. "My Girls" are not just customers, but true friends that I know I can always call on. And in my humble opinion, it doesn't get any better than that!
